Okay, okay.......most of you are probably looking at this picture thinking, "what in the world have Chris and Jill done?" Well, you've probably guessed it by now. We bought us a mini van! Yes, we are taking our baby preparations to the extreme especially since Jill is just 9 weeks pregnant. So, we really were not planning on buying a van for a while (at least a year away in our baby plans). That was until we had this great opportunity. We were driving home last Saturday from Chattanooga where we went to join Jill's extended family for a 4th of July cookout on the 1st of July when we came across this van. It was sitting on a used lot in Athens right as you come into town. We decided to stop and take a look. Well, this was the fully loaded mini van with all the bells and whistles you could want. The dealer was out of town so we couldn't look at it. He came back to town on Thursday and gave us a call. We went and test drove it. We decided that we would seriously consider buying the van since it was everything we would want, but that we could never afford on a brand new one. So, in short we went home and thought about it. Then 2 hours later, we were at the dealership making a deposit and making our preparations to purchase the van the next day. Friday afternoon, we bought the van, insured it, and got a new license plate for it. Now it's ours and we really love driving it!!! So, if anyone knows of anyone who needs a 96 honda accord or a 2001 dodge stratus, let us know. We're going to be selling one of those cars shortly.
