We are so proud to announce that our son, Jackson Robert Kirby was born last Wednesday Feb 7 at 7:56 pm. Chris would like to point out that was 4 minutes before the North Carolina/Duke basketball game. But, Chris was very glad to miss the game this year and he was especially glad that North Carolina won the game! Anyway, Jack weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and was 20 and 3/4 inches long. He is a completely healthy baby boy and we just love him to death! He was welcomed by lots of family who came to see him in the hospital including his Gram, Grandaddy, Grandma, Grandpa, Nana (1 of his great-grandmothers), Great Aunt Cheryl, Uncle Brian, Aunt Kym, and cousin Addie Grace. We came home from the hospital Friday night and have been doing well ever since. Jack likes to sleep and eat and sometimes he stays awake to play. It's been great having him in our family. And for those of you who are wondering, Murphy is adjusting well but he definitely misses being the center of attention. Here are some pictures for you.
