We just cannot believe that Jack is now 2 months old. His official 2 month birthday was Saturday. Since then, he has celebrated his first easter and gone to the doctor for his 2 month check-up and shots. Easter was fun except that it was so cold he couldn't wear his cute easter outfit. Oh well....maybe next Sunday. The easter bunny came to visit Jack and brought him a couple of baby toys and a baby einstein video. He really liked his easter bucket! It's amazing how the easter bunny also came to visit Chris, but he did not visit Jill! Hmmm! It's okay because in May I get mother's day, my birthday, and our anniversary!
Today at the doctor we found out that Jack weighs 14 pounds, 7 ounces and is 24 1/4 inches long. That's HUGE! But, the good thing is that his height and weight are exactly proportionate. He's in the 95th percentile for both. We just might have a star athlete in the making! Jack was great at the doctor except for the first shots. Two people gave him his shots so that he could have one in each leg and get them all over with at once. He was laying on the table in a happy mood when all of the sudden he SCREAMED!!! You could really tell he was in pain and that was heart breaking. Now, as I write this he is recovering. He fell asleep in the car immediately and I just left him in his seat because I know he needs the sleep. Here is the picture of him recovering.
