Gram!

This past week has been lots of fun, but also very busy! It started off last Friday when Chris left to go to St. Louis so that he could get on a plane early Saturday morning to get on a plane to head to Honduras for a 10 day mission trip! My dad drove my mom up here on Friday and then was going to head home and leave my mom here for the week since Chris was gone. Early Saturday morning my phone rang and it was Chris (who was supposed to already be on a plane) and he said that he wasn't going on the trip because he was too sick! HUGE BUMMER! He was running a fever and couldn't even sit up straight without feeling like his head was going to fall off. Dale (one of our other ministers at church) also did not get to go on the trip because they wouldn't let him on the plane because of a weird thing with his passport. So, Dale drove Chris home on Saturday. However, my mom still stayed the whole week since she had already planned on it and my dad came back this weekend to pick mom up! We may never know why Chris and Dale ended up missing out on the Honduras trip, but I'm sure God had a reason. However, I'm very happy to report that group still finished building 2 water towers for an obscure island that the people were having to take a boat everyday to get clean water.

We are so happy that Gram was here all week! She really spoiled us with good cooking, cleaning, and a few mornings to sleep in. Jack had a great time lovin' on his Gram and Grandaddy this week! Here are some pictures from last weekend at the zoo with Gram and Grandaddy......
