A little funny

Today the three of us were eating lunch at O'Charley's and Jack's voice kept escalating louder and louder with every single thing he said. We're working on the whole "inside voice" thing. He seems to get it but then very quickly forgets. I forget the exact event leading up to the following conversation, but it went something like this:

Daddy: Jack do you realize you are acting like a little monkey?

Jack: (in a very loud voice) oo oo ah ah; oo oo ah ah; oo oo ah ah; oo oo ah ah

Mommy: Jack, daddy didn't ask you to talk like a monkey

Jack: (makes his best elephant sound) How about an elephant?
