Guess what Jack ate for breakfast? That chocolate egg!
He did manage to eat a little oatmeal. But, this was pretty much day 2 of his sugar high. Actually, he crashed on the way to church and on the way to the Carters' house after church. But, that was the sum of his naps for the whole weekend! My sweet boys...
Here is the candy crazed look of the weekend......
It's very sad to say that Jack now knows the meaning of candy. All of the other holidays leading up to this one, he has not fully understood. Seriously, I still have Halloween candy left over in my house. We did not get him much candy for Easter but we didn't have to between Gram's package, the church egg hunt, and Ms. Anni's hunt. He now asks for it ALL the time. But, we are not giving in to his every whim for candy. Hopefully it will last a while. All of the festivities around Easter are fun, but more importantly I'm just so eternally grateful for the reason behind the celebrating!!!!! It's been a refreshing year in my spiritual journey and this was such a good day to celebrate between being at church and being with my wonderful family. I'm so blessed!

The picture of Jack in a candy stupor definitely made me laugh. Ah, to be able to eat that much candy without thinking about our waistline....
