Well, it's taken me a few days, but I decided to post the pictures from our breakfast that we had with Santa last Saturday morning. Our church has what I think is the neatest thing every year. We have breakfast together (eggs, sausage, french toast) and there are games for the kids and a store that they can shop in so their parents don't know what they are buying and of course Santa makes an appearance too. It was a lot of fun! We were very happy that Jack really liked Santa. He seemed to really enjoy sitting on his lap! The Santa was also a really good one! He doesn't even live in Indy, but his dad played Santa for years at Southeastern and so after his dad passed away, he decided he would continue the tradition! He really seems to enjoy doing it! I think that makes it a little more special than a picture with Santa at the mall. After Jack had his moment, we jumped in for a good family photo! Ha! Santa didn't even flinch at having all of us on his lap!

In other news, Jack is sick. Yesterday, he was fine. We woke up and everything was great. We went to Addie Grace's (my niece) Christmas program at her pre-school which happens to also be at our church. Then, we had lunch at Cracker Barrel with my parents, Kym's parents, Kym's sister, Addie Grace and Sawyer. Jack was still fine. We came home and he went down for a nap very easily. Two hours later when he woke up he didn't act like himself. He just wanted to sit in my lap instead of play in the floor. So, I thought he felt hot and took his temperature.......it was 102.5. He has never had a fever like this. He usually doesn't have fever even with all his ear infections. So, I was a little nervous. We didn't get to go out with my parents and Brian and Kym to celebrate Chris's birthday as planned (it's tomorrow by the way). Instead we ordered in and kept giving Jack Tylenol as often as we could. This morning we went to the doctor and sure enough.......double ear infection! Yuck! He's doing surprisingly well. Here he is shortly after our doctor's visit. Chris put this hood on him and Jack just left it there for quite a while. Is this really the face of a sick kid? Oh well....maybe he'll sleep good tonight after getting some antibiotic in him.
