Outside!

Our little man LOVES to be outside! Now that he can ask to go outside, he is constantly asking to go outside. Now, he stands at the back door and says in the cutest voice ever, "outside outside outside..." until you acknowledge what he is saying. Then, he looks at you with puppy dog eyes and says, "outside, please??" It works everytime!!! We figure that we really need to be taking advantage of outside now before we face another cold Indiana winter. The weather has been great this past week. A little on the cool side but still comfortable outside in long sleeves without a jacket. We've been on several walks in our neighborhood this week and it never fails that Jack knows exactly where we have to turn to go to the playground! Or as he calls it the slide! Thursday night I decided to take my camera along!

When we first get to the playground, Jack is the happiest little boy in the world!He gets the playground ready for him by putting mulch through these little holes. Random, I know. But, he HAS to do it EVERY time!Then, we go down the smaller slide.Then, Jack climbs up the ladder to the big slide. He can do this all by himself now, but we are still always right there with him.Then, after sliding down the big slide, he has to climb up the slide part. Look at the face of determination.
Here he is with daddy.........and mommy! I just love Jack to pieces! He keeps us entertained all day! He's such a joy to be around and is really beginning to talk our ears off. He points out EVERYTHING!!! Here is a brief summary of our trip to the grocery store the other day.......car, jeep, bus, buggy, grapes, apples, nanas (banana), juice, milk, baby, buggy, baby, buggy, doggy (there is a big banner above one of the aisles at Target with a dog), drive mommy (as we're going down the aisle and I stop to look at something), yellow, red, blue, green, two, two, three, pay, money, bye bye (to everyone as we're leaving), mommy jeep, car seat, Oliver (his toy train that he wants to play with as soon as we get in the car). This is no where near all the words Jack is saying but it gives you an idea of what our life is like right now.
