A Visit from Friends

This post is a few days late, but that's okay....I've been busy! Last weekend we had some friends from Alabama come visit - the Jones family! Casey, Katie, Emily, Serra, and Anna Grace got here Saturday around lunch time and left Monday morning so we had lots of visiting to get in before they left. We went to the Children's Museum, Church, the Pumpkin Patch, and our neighborhood park in just 2 days! Jack and Anna Grace immediately hit it off! Anna Grace is 4 and Jack is still only 1 but they played together so well. Jack called Anna Grace, Anni Grace all weekend....it was very cute. Here they are together at the Children's museum on Saturday afternoon! They pretty much insisted on holding hands all the time! The highlight of this trip to the Children's Museum was the Comic Book exhibit! Chris decided he would try to get Jack and Anna Grace to pose like Spiderman! Jack thought it was hilarious but he just wanted to be held by his daddy. This is one of the real Batmobiles used in the making of 2 of the different Batman movies and was most recently used in the Dark Knight. It was actually driven on the streets of Gotham City and is even cooler in person than in the movies if you ask me.
Jack wanted to do everything Anna Grace did........including climbing on this stool to look at the comic book.
Here is little Jack-Jack from the Incredibles! It was only fitting that the cape Jack put on was from the Incredibles movie since we call him Jack-Jack all the time. Jack now refers to himself as Jack-Jack when you ask him his name.
Here are Emily and Serra helping Jack fly!
We had lots of fun with the Jones family and are so happy that they came to visit! We have been so blessed by our move to Indiana over a year ago, but we still miss our friends in Alabama and are always greatful when we get to see different families from there. I'll try to post pictures from the pumpkin patch soon.
