This past weekend our dear friends, Derek and Elise, came to visit us from Alabama. We got to know them when we lived there and will remain friends with them forever. They are just those people that we "click" with. Their son and Jack are only 2 weeks apart and it was so much fun to watch all the kids play together this weekend! They arrived late Thursday night and didn't leave until Monday morning so we had a very good visit! I was sad that the weekend was over! We stayed busy all weekend between going to the Zoo and the Children's museum and Church. We did manage to find lots of good time just to be at the house and visit too. Elise and I even snuck away for a while to go shopping "kid free." And, Derek and Chris snuck away late one night to go to a movie! We miss our friends so much and are so thankful to God for people like Derek and Elise! I love the way God blesses us with amazing friendships to have people to walk through this life with us.
