Baking Day with Gram

Warning: This post is going to have lots of pictures!

On Wednesday morning after our Christmas celebration Tuesday night.....the kids were very excited to get to make their gingerbread cookies with Gram. This is a tradition that Gram started with Addie Grace a few years ago. This was the first year Jack and Sawyer got to participate! And, it was a ton of fun! My mom used to make gingerbread cookies with her kindergarten kids every year when she was teaching so she is an old pro at this. All Kym and I had to do was take pictures. Last year Aunt Kym made these adorable aprons for my mom and the kids to wear around Christmas time!

Gram and her elves.....
Yippeeeee..........let's get started!!!
Look at that concentration while sifting flour...Everyone took a turn with the mixer...Even Grandaddy got in on the action! And, don't you love Addie Grace in her chef hat?Jack was very intent on everything he did......he is just so serious here! But, not here.......he's pretty excited about the gingerbread man!
Decorating is one the of the best parts.....But, I'm sure most of you would agree with Jack that eating the finished product is the BEST part!Happy Baking to you this holiday season!!!!
