Great Grandmother Tour Part 1

After spending Wednesday night in Knoxville, we headed to Murphy for the weekend. Our friends Travis and Stacy (formerly known as Amos and Stacy.....long story but I'm really trying to use his original name of Travis) and their kids met us there. Chris and Travis are both taking groups of teenagers to Murphy this summer for a mission trip so this was a working trip for them to get ready for this summer. It was an extra bonus that Grandma Dottie was able to come to Gigi and Papa's house too and meet Tatum for the first time.

Here is Tatum as the center of attention (4 generations)....

We had a great time in Murphy with gorgeous weather! Jack was so happy to see Katie Mei and Avery and have some good play time with them.

We went to the Murphy park twice and one afternoon while most of the girls shopped......Papa, Travis, and Chris took Jack and Katie Mei on a long "adventure walk." Jack and Katie Mei could not get enough of the ducks.

Saturday afternoon I was able to enjoy a long walk around Gigi and Papa's neighborhood all alone. It was so refreshing for me! Sunday morning we enjoyed worshiping with the church in Murphy and then after lunch we headed out for the next leg of our trip to Chattanooga...
